I am a cloud security and DevSecOps engineer with more than fourteen years of experience securing and validating large-scale distributed infrastructure. My work sits at the intersection of engineering, security, and governance: building the systems, pipelines, and controls that keep internet-scale platforms reliable, secure, and continuously compliant.
For over a decade I have worked at Akamai Technologies, one of the world’s foremost internet infrastructure companies, whose globally distributed platform spans more than 240,000 servers across over 130 countries and carries a substantial share of the world’s web traffic. My focus has been the reliability and security of that infrastructure: DNS and global traffic management, Kubernetes and cloud-native platform security, and the deployment governance that determines what reaches production at internet scale. Earlier in my career I worked in performance engineering for distributed storage systems at EMC Corporation (now Dell Technologies).
Alongside my engineering work, I am an active contributor to the global cybersecurity and IT-governance profession through ISACA, the leading professional association for information-systems audit, security, risk, and governance. I serve on ISACA’s IT Audit and Assurance Advisory Group and Emerging Trends Working Group, am a named expert reviewer of the IT Audit Framework (ITAF) and the Advanced AI Risk (AAIR) certification materials, judge the ISACA Foundation’s global scholarship program, and serve as an Engage Forum Topic Leader.
I publish peer-reviewed research on DevSecOps governance, cloud security posture management, Kubernetes admission control, and AI risk, and I speak at industry and academic conferences on building systems that prove compliance continuously.
